LONDON

Small canvas, careful layout

A car is not a small van.

Car doors are short, curved and broken up by handles, trims and shut lines. Rear panels are smaller still. Good car branding works with those limits instead of squeezing a van layout onto them.

  • Fewer words, bigger type. Business name, one service line and one contact detail usually read better than a list of everything you do.
  • Contrast first. Light lettering on dark paint, dark on light. Check it from across the street, not just on screen.
  • Avoid the awkward lines. We position artwork to keep key text clear of handles, badges and door gaps.
  • Driver visibility stays clear. We are cautious with glass and never compromise the view the driver needs.

Choose your level

From door logos to a full wrap.

  1. 01

    Logo & door lettering

The simplest step: logo, name and phone number on the front doors. Clean, cost-conscious and easy to update.

  2. 02

    Rear lettering

The panel following drivers read longest in traffic. Ideal for a web address or short service line.

  3. 03

    Printed panels

Full-colour printed graphics on doors or rear quarters, for photography, gradients or detailed logos.

  4. 04

    Partial or full wrap

Wrap film over part or all of the bodywork for maximum presence or a colour change.

    How wrapping works

Vehicle type vs service: this page covers branding cars and small business vehicles. Vehicle wraps explains the wrap film service for any vehicle. Running several cars? See fleet graphics for consistent layouts across a fleet.

Installation

What happens before vinyl touches paint.

  1. Check

    Condition review

Paint, dents, previous repairs and any existing vinyl are checked, as they affect how graphics apply.

  2. Remove

    Old graphics

Existing vinyl can be removed first, quoted as its own item. See wrap removal & re-wrapping.

  3. Fit

    Clean and apply

Panels are cleaned and prepared, then graphics are positioned against the agreed proof.

  4. Care

    Aftercare

Washing and care advice is specific to the film and finish used on your car and is given at handover.

Before we design

What helps us quote your car.

  • Make, model & year panel shapes change between versions
  • Photos each side, front and rear, in daylight
  • Dimensions any panel measurements you have
  • Artwork your logo, ideally as a vector file
  • Condition existing vinyl, dents or paint repairs
  • Permission lease or finance approval if the car is not owned outright

Questions

Car branding FAQs.

What is the difference between this page and vehicle wraps?

This page is about the vehicle type: cars and small business vehicles, and which branding options suit them. Vehicle wraps is about the material service itself, covering how printed and colour-change wrap films are applied to any vehicle.

Can you brand a leased or financed car?

Often, yes, but check with your lease or finance company before booking. Some agreements set conditions on graphics or removal at the end of the term, so it is worth confirming permission first.

Can graphics go on car windows?

We keep the driver’s view clear and take a cautious approach to glass. Where window graphics are suitable we will discuss placement with you; otherwise we keep branding to the body panels.

What do you need to quote for a car?

The make, model and year, a few clear photos of each side and the rear, any panel measurements you have, and your logo or artwork. Mention any existing vinyl, dents or paint damage too.

Can you remove old graphics first?

Yes. Existing vinyl is checked as part of the quote and removal can be priced separately before new graphics go on.

How should I wash a branded car?

Aftercare depends on the film and finish used, so we give project-specific guidance at handover. As a general rule, wash gently by hand and avoid aiming pressure washers at graphic edges.
