Logistics / Fascia Signs

Fascia Signs
for Logistics.

Signs for depots, routes and working fleets. A fascia sign occupies the main horizontal band of a frontage and normally carries the primary business name. Its margins, letter scale and alignment should relate to the shopfront rather than simply fill the available rectangle.

The application

Where it earns its place.

Depot names, gates and goods-in directions must be legible from the route where decisions are made. Retail, hospitality and service businesses use fascia panels, trays or applied lettering as their principal street-facing identifier. Supporting descriptors can be included when they remain readable and do not dilute the name. A street-facing retail-style sign only makes sense here if there is an actual public-facing unit or entrance; site identification may call for a different format.

Depots and distribution premises combine yard approaches, vehicle movement and often limited installation windows.

From brief to upkeep

Details make the difference.

Material choice, fixing and care should follow the conditions of your actual premises.

01 / 04

Specify

Survey the proposed sign position and viewing distance before confirming dimensions and fixings. Folded aluminium trays, aluminium composite panels, acrylic or metal letters and exterior vinyl offer flat, dimensional and illuminated combinations. Finish and panel construction are selected for span, exposure and viewing distance.

02 / 04

Produce

A measured elevation establishes panel size, joints, letter height and clear margins. Trays are folded, panels cut, lettering fabricated or routed, and fixing locations prepared before graphics and finishes are completed.

03 / 04

Install

Agree traffic control, working height, loading-bay availability and vehicle downtime before fitting signs or graphics. The existing fascia, substrate and any previous electrical work must be inspected. Long panels need a handling and access plan, while separate letters require an accurate template and confirmed cable positions if illuminated.

04 / 04

Look after it

Cleaning should preserve coatings and letter edges. Where the structure remains sound, changing applied lettering or a face panel can update the frontage without replacing every component.

Logistics sites need to be found, entered and navigated without mixing visitor routes with goods movements. Fleet graphics also need to remain readable and consistent across vehicles of different sizes.
