Public Sector / Large Format Printing

Large Format Printing
for Public Sector.

Accessible, maintainable information for public-facing sites. Large-format printing turns approved artwork into banners, posters, boards and display graphics. The correct output process depends on viewing distance, duration, weather and how the finished piece will be mounted.

The application

Where it earns its place.

Temporary information and event graphics should carry an owner and review date to avoid outdated public instructions. PVC or mesh banners suit temporary external messages, posters support indoor campaigns, rigid boards create display panels, and self-adhesive graphics cover walls, hoardings or exhibition structures.

Shared buildings and changing public information need clear ownership and durable formats.

From brief to upkeep

Details make the difference.

Material choice, fixing and care should follow the conditions of your actual premises.

01 / 04

Specify

Agree the display lifetime, viewing distance and mounting surface before choosing a print finish. Banner PVC, wind-permeable mesh, poster paper, self-adhesive vinyl, display film and rigid boards are paired with laminates, eyelets, hems or mounting systems appropriate to their use.

02 / 04

Produce

Files are checked for scale, resolution, bleed, colour setup and finishing marks. Output is printed at the required size, allowed to cure where necessary, then laminated, trimmed, hemmed, eyeleted or mounted.

03 / 04

Install

Check procurement approvals, brand rules, accessibility requirements and any restricted access before finalising artwork or installation. The fitting method is planned from the surface and environment: banners need well-spaced tension points, boards need suitable supports, and wall graphics need a clean compatible finish. Large panels also require a safe handling route.

Look after it

Temporary print should be removed before fixings or edges deteriorate. Reusable display hardware can accept replacement graphics when sizes and finishing remain consistent.

Think beyond one surface

Public-facing organisations need consistent identification and understandable routes. Signage should follow the commissioning body’s brand, accessibility and approval requirements rather than assuming one standard specification.

Temporary information and event graphics should carry an owner and review date to avoid outdated public instructions.
