Housing / Vehicle Wraps

Vehicle Wraps
for Housing.

Consistent information across managed properties. Vehicle wraps use printed or coloured film to change a substantial part of a vehicle’s appearance. Successful wraps depend on suitable paint, thoughtful panel planning and careful work around recesses and edges.

The application

Where it earns its place.

Maintenance and support fleets can be branded where they are operated by the housing provider or its contractor. Full wraps create broad colour or image coverage, while partial wraps combine film with the original paint to reduce coverage and create deliberate shapes. Commercial wraps can carry brand messages; colour-change projects focus more heavily on finish and edge detail.

Shared entrances, external approaches and communal rooms vary from building to building.

From brief to upkeep

Details make the difference.

Material choice, fixing and care should follow the conditions of your actual premises.

01 / 04

Specify

Confirm the actual vehicle body, operating pattern and permission to apply graphics before choosing coverage. Conformable cast wrap film and compatible cast laminate are typical for complex curves and recesses. Specialist knifeless tape, primers used only where appropriate, and matching cut films support clean joins and fine details.

02 / 04

Produce

Artwork is built on a vehicle template but checked against real measurements. Printed panels include bleed for positioning, laminate is applied under controlled conditions, and tiles are organised around natural panel breaks.

03 / 04

Install

Arrange vehicle availability and a suitable clean fitting space. The vehicle must arrive clean, dry and free from silicone or wax, with sound paint and repaired damage fully cured. Removal of handles or trims is assessed case by case, and post-heating secures film in stressed recesses.

04 / 04

Look after it

Hand washing with wrap-safe products protects edges and laminate. Chips, lifting or accident damage should be addressed early, and removal at the end of service life should be carried out with controlled heat.

Housing providers may manage building names, estate directions, resident notices and maintenance vehicles across multiple addresses. Information should be easy to maintain, especially where occupants or access rules change.
