Housing / Display Light Boxes

Display Light Boxes
for Housing.

Consistent information across managed properties. Display light boxes spread light across a graphic face to make menus, promotions or brand panels readable in changing ambient light. Depth, face construction and LED spacing determine how even the result appears.

The application

Where it earns its place.

Block names and communal wayfinding need consistent terminology across a property portfolio. Slim wall-mounted boxes suit receptions and retail displays, while deeper external boxes can identify a unit or present a prominent logo. Changeable poster systems are useful where campaigns or menu content rotate regularly.

Shared entrances, external approaches and communal rooms vary from building to building.

From brief to upkeep

Details make the difference.

Material choice, fixing and care should follow the conditions of your actual premises.

01 / 04

Specify

Survey the proposed sign position and viewing distance before confirming dimensions and fixings. Powder-coated aluminium cases, opal acrylic, tensioned fabric or flex faces, LED modules and suitable power supplies are selected for the box size and environment. External units also require weather-conscious joints and drainage.

02 / 04

Produce

The case is fabricated to the approved dimensions, LEDs are positioned for even illumination, and the face graphic is printed or cut for the chosen system. The assembled box is illuminated in the workshop to identify shadows or colour variation.

03 / 04

Install

Confirm ownership, resident communication, permitted fitting locations and safe access to communal spaces before installation. Wall strength, cable routes, isolation and maintenance access are confirmed before fitting. Larger boxes may need lifting equipment and multiple fixing points; poster boxes need enough clear space for the face or door to open.

04 / 04

Look after it

Faces should be cleaned without scratching, and ventilation or drainage paths kept clear. Replaceable graphics should follow the original colour and material specification to preserve even illumination.

Housing providers may manage building names, estate directions, resident notices and maintenance vehicles across multiple addresses. Information should be easy to maintain, especially where occupants or access rules change.
